Iwata speaks regarding Revolution price, among other things.
In a recent interview with German news source Spiegal Online Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's president, said that he has asked Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of such legendary franchises as Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong, to engineer a new Mario title to accompany the launch of the Revolution.
What the new game will be, no one knows. Evidence points toward it being the fabled Mario 128 previously in developement for the GameCube, and then moved to Revolution. The revolution's controller coupled with Miyamoto's proven genius can only mean a bright future for the Revolution.
In another part of the interview, Iwata said the following:
"I think, we should prepare a dynamic price margin, from which the consumers can select. Depending on the size and the volume of the project, we want perhaps different price structure. For masterpieces like The Legend of Zelda we will require perhaps as much as our competitors, but depending upon the software we will use different prices. "
I think it's safe to say that we can't count on Nintendo for fair prices our wallets can handle... stay tuned to Ninformer for more Revolution details as they unfold.
