According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine in Japan, Namco is hard at work with a sequel to the popular card-based RPG game for the GameCube. The game's current subtitle is 'Hajimari No Tsubasa to Kamigami No Shishi', translates to 'Wings of the Beginning and Heir to the Gods'.

This game is not the same as the previously announced Baten Kaitos game for the Nintendo DS, and whether it is a sequel to the original is unknown at this time. The game looks to a December release in Japan, with no word on an American release yet.
