NHL Returns To GameCube
Although the real NHL players are enjoying an extended holiday due to the cancellation of the season, the folks at EA Canada have been hard at work on NHL 06, which is scheduled for release this Autumn on the GameCube.

The newest addition to EA's NHL franchise introduces the Skill Stick, allowing for more offensive play. Some new moves include bat-ins and toe drags.
This year's cover star will be none other than Vincent Lecavalier of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Quebec native was chosen for his leading the Lightning to the Lord Stanley's Cup in 2004.
It seems as though NHL 06 may be the only way ice-hockey junkies can get their dose of their favourite sport this year, although there is still hope for the 2005-2006 season when the two sides began a series of meetings on 5th May.
