Tamagotchi, after it's apparent success in America and Japan as probably the most popular handheld mini-game among fourth graders, has finally made it's way to a real video game console, namely the Nintendo DS. Bandai has announced that a new Tamagotchi called Tamagotchi: Corner Shop will be released this winter. In Corner Shop, the player will face the challenges of starting their own stores and servicing customers through mini-games that utilize the DS's touch screen.
