Revolution price and release date?
Amazon.fr, the french version of Amazon.com, recently updated its Revolution page with a release date and price. Update!

Aside from the typical amazon Revolution page giving us all the info we already knew and the option to sign up for a newsletter, Amazon.fr (French Amazon site) updated its page with some pretty interesting new information.

The page includes a price of €200 (About $365 USD) and a release date of June 15, 2006 (probably a european release date if it's real). If that is a real price, that's VERY expensive. The X-Box 360 is $300, and from what we know now, it's much more powerful than the Revolution. However, we must keep in mind that we don't yet know the "revolutionary" feature of the system, and whatever it is, it could be very expensive. Plus, more importantly, European prices are always a bit inflated, and the price here in the States will most likely be about $300.

At this point in time, with no confirmation of this information, we can safely assume that this is just an estimate on the company's part. Nintendo hasn't given any official word as of yet, but once and if they do, we'll be sure to keep you updated.

Update: I just happened to check the page out, and (even though I don't read french), I could see a bundle pack that features the Nintendo Revolution and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for €350. Again, we can't be sure if this is real as of yet, but this will add to the rumors of the upcoming Zelda title being created for the Revolution instead of the GCN, which is the cause of the recent delay.

We can't be sure of anything now, but we'll give you all the info you need as it becomes available.

You can view the page at Amazon France here.
