While Nintendo has not fully unveiled the mysterious controller for the Nintendo Revolution, IGN spoke to Nintendo Vice President of corporate affairs Perrin Kaplan about the possibility of other companies stealing Nintendo's said-to-be amazing and innovative new controller.
IGN asked what Kaplan thought about it, and she replied by saying, "The entire controller will be remarkably innovative. We're working on something that truly will provide a unique gameplay experience. That's our goal -- to not only have a unique controller, but introduve a new way to enjoy games. We'll have to see if it's innovation inspired other to creativity as well. And remember, we are securing the appropriate intellectual property rights for the product."
Nintendo is said to unveil the controller and other shady parts of the system at the Tokyo Game Show on September 16-18th, so mark your calendars.
